But we couldn’t resist staying true to our roots: even these elegant designer sets, crafted from select solid wood, incorporate a folding mechanism that makes handling these stylish tables and benches effortlessly easy.

Frequently Asked Questions About Designer Furniture

All of our designer sets feature a folding mechanism that makes setting up and dismantling the furniture significantly easier. This allows the pieces to be folded away with minimal effort and stored over the autumn and winter months, prolonging their lifespan. However, only the Rustica and Rustica with backrest can be folded and stored without the need for tools. For the Riva and Lago models, tools are required to attach or remove the backrests.

Yes – all of our designer sets are sealed with special protective coatings that shield them from external environmental influences: 

 

  • Rustica & Rustica with Backrest: Treated with our certified Firelock® UV glaze, which bonds optimally to the wood and reduces moisture penetration.
  • Lago: Finished with a high-performance synthetic resin varnish (marine-grade) that is highly resistant to weather.
  • Riva: Coated with two-component garden furniture glaze, which reliably protects the furniture set from moisture and UV rays.
