Our Company History

What began in a modest workshop has grown over the decades into an internationally successful company employing more than 400 people worldwide. Together we look back on 75 proud years of company history and many significant milestones.

1948
Franz Zingerle sits in the house where he was born, which later became a workshop.
Foundation Year

Franz Zingerle founds Zingerlemetal in South Tyrol, Italy.

1984

The 2nd Generation

The sons of Franz Zingerle, Martin and Georg, join the company and start producing beer garden table sets.

1993
The image shows the first folding tent that Mastertent produced for the company Paulaner in 1993.
Expansion of the Product Range

Since 1993, production and sale of folding gazebos under the Mastertent® brand.

1995
In Romania, many workers are involved in the production of the beer table set.
Expansion

Between 1995 and 2018, a new company building in Italy, a second production facility in Romania and numerous foreign branches, e.g., in Spain and the United States, are built.

2014
Business Takeover

The takeover of HBS GmbH and RUKU Klappmöbel GmbH in Germany takes place and shortly afterwards they merge to RUKUevent GmbH.

2018

3rd Generation

Georg Zingerle becomes the sole owner of the company and the siblings Stefan, Sonja and Thomas Zingerle join their father's family business.

2019
We have another site in Germany in Illertissen.
A New Office

The new company building in Illertissen, Germany, is inaugurated.

2023
