Photovoltaics at our Schabs site
A photovoltaic system is installed on the roof of our company building in Schabs. The electricity generated is used directly at the site.
District heating at our Schabs site
Our company building in Schabs is supplied with heat through the municipality’s district heating network.
Combating Climate Change
Since 2019, we have supported an annual reforestation programme in the Harghita mountain region of Romania together with the Zetea forestry cooperative. By December 2025, 42,250 trees had been planted as part of the project.
Packaging and the dual system
Our sales packaging that is subject to system participation requirements in Germany is registered with the "Der Grüne Punkt" dual system. The system organises the collection, sorting and recovery of used sales packaging.
LED lighting
We use LED lighting at our production sites.
Wood processing in Romania
The wood used in our joinery in Romania comes from Romanian forests and is processed at our local production site.
Spare parts for longer use
We offer a 10-year spare parts service for our beer garden table sets. This means individual components can be replaced when necessary without having to replace the entire set.

For our tables and benches, we use selected spruce wood that has been air-dried and kiln-dried. The wood is processed at our production site in Romania.
Wood residues generated during processing are used at the site as fuel for heating the company building.
Reforestation programme since 2019
Since 2019, we have supported an annual reforestation programme in the Harghita mountain region together with the Zetea forestry cooperative.
By December 2025, a total of 42,250 trees had been planted as part of the project.
This allows us to clearly show which specific initiative we support and the scale the project has reached to date.
Packaging and the dual system
Our sales packaging that is subject to system participation requirements in Germany is registered with the "Der Grüne Punkt" dual system.
The environmental certificate issued for our participating packaging volumes for 2024 reports the following figures:
5,325 kg CO₂ equivalents
30 kg phosphate equivalents
272 GJ primary energy
37 kg sulphur dioxide equivalents
These figures relate to the packaging volumes we registered with the dual system in 2024 and to the calculations provided by the system operator.
